The University
Ternopil State Medical University was established in the year 1957. It is located in the Ternopil city of Ukraine. It is one of the most beautiful cities in Ukraine.
TSMU is also known as I. Ya. Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University. It was named after Ivan Horbachevsky in the year 1992 to honor his contribution towards the field of medicine.
Ternopil State Medical University is a public medical university which is licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The university is duly approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and it is also recognized globally.
Among the global recognitions, the university is listed with the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS). It is also registered with the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER).
TSMU offers a 6-year program of MBBS in Ukraine. Students from different parts of the world pursue their medical careers at the university.
Presently, more than 4500 Ukrainian medical aspirants who are studying at the university. Besides that, nearly 2000 medical students are from 59 countries in the world.

Eligibility
To get admission to the MBBS Program of Ternopil State Medical University, the student must qualify NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate).
Besides NEET-UG, there is no requirement to go through any additional entrance examination.

Student Life
Established in the year 1957, Ternopil State Medical University is one of the oldest and best medical universities in Ukraine.
